Health Republic Insurance of New Jersey: HRINJ Liquidation Plan

The October 19, 2016, Order of Rehabilitation issued for Freelancers Consumer Operated and Oriented Program of New Jersey D/B/A Health Republic of New Jersey (HRINJ) by the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, included a declaration of insolvency.

Due to a further deepening of the insolvency, an Order of Liquidation was filed and entered by the court on February 3rd, 2017.

The Order appointed the Commissioner, State of New Jersey, Department of Banking and Insurance, as Liquidator directing the Liquidator to take control of all property and assets and to liquidate business and affairs in accordance with New Jersey Insurance law.

Within the Order certain injunctive relief is extended in the interest of HRINJ’s former providers, members and other creditors. Additionally, the Order institutes a maximum 180 days from the date of the Order, to assert all claims in the form established by the Liquidator or such claims will be forever barred.  

The appointed Deputy Liquidator will carry out the liquidation proceeding.
